Exciting speaker lineup set for Dairy Industries Expo this week

It is an interesting fact that dairy is produced and consumed in almost every country around the world, and here in the UK, it is widely manufactured all over, not least in Yorkshire where Harrogate resides. Thus, this is one of the reasons why we opted for the pretty spa spot as a venue for our inaugural exhibition and seminars sessions 4-5 October.

The exhibitors and speakers all have such interesting information to impart, from how to pick the perfect flooring for your processing, to how to make your product stand out from the crowd.

The chill chain is a key component of our industry in many segments. Penmann/Clauger, for example are speaking on 5 October at 12:30. Both John Kirwin and Laurent Guesdon will discuss the benefits of rapid cooling for dairy products.

Meanwhile, Ali Sedaghat Doost of FAM Stumabo is detailing what the challenges are when shredding plant-based cheese alternatives. This one is particularly interesting as dairy processors look at adding to their product range with non-dairy SKUs. He will be speaking at 14:10 on 4 October.

On the exhibitor side, Blackwater Engineering is on stand M135, showcasing its stainless steel vessels, silos and processing systems for the dairy sector, and BV Dairy on stand M127 is highlighting its dairy products for the hospitality, manufacturing and food services. Spray drying is represented at European Spraydry Technologies on stand 420, and there are many more to explore at the show. See you there.
